The ol' Drawing Salon!!

Sooo... Is anyone out there??? HEllo??!!
Yeah I didnt think anyone reads this. So in hopes of gaining ratings Im going to put some nude drawings up. Hey what can I say , sex sells! Ok not sex, just 3-5 minute drawings of the nude figure( and they definitely dont sell).

I Go to figure salon at my school every Wednesday in hopes of drawing the figure with force and rhythym. Sometimes it almost succeeds and most of the time I fail miserably. But its only $3 and im addicted to drawing, so its a cheap high. Sorry for the rambling .

Damn iT feels Good to be HOME!

OK So... I know its been a whole month since I have posted anything on here. First off I am sorry. Second off... well It feels SO good to be back in the SF Bay.

I had a great time in FLorida.. I met lots of great people whom are now great friends ( and i wish to see them all very soon, you know who your are) I learned a bit and just drew as much as i could.

Now that I am back I just settled into a new place and started school. I am starting work on my animated short and that is pretty much all the work that you will see for some time on here besided sketchbook stuff. So check back here to see concept art, storyboards, character design and more.

LIVE from the Busch

This GUy was fun to draw. He had no Idea why people where laughing behind me
Tried some new things here, felt it went ok. But not exactly what i had wanted it to be.
Sometimes I shade in the hair on sketches to make them pop a bit more. Not very often though . This was different from what i usually draw so i like it.
Cute kid, but man, he really did not want to get drawn. Hence the sad face in the sketch .
I was quite pleased with this sketch. This guy really liked it also.

The parents and the son loved this sketch. I started off with a good idea in my head but its not what I had envisioned .
This was a demo. The guy told me i was messed up for drawing him like this. he Didnt let me take a picture of him to show you guys.

Gorilla from Busch Gardens THese creatures are amazing. For the rest of my time her(a week and a half) I will be going to draw the animals at the park for my lunch hour. Youll see more pages of animals soon.




















Coffee shop art. I was jazzed up on coffee when i drew these so they arent that great, but oh well, you can see them anyways.

Lately I have been Brown Baggin it!!
I bought a scrap book at borders and it has great thick brown paper with a nice tooth to it. I have been doing some cool stuff in it. So i thought id let you in on my work. I have to put this book down for a bit so that i can finish my not so cool old sketch book. (11 pages left!!)

Notorious BiG. Graphite and white charcoal. Finished at work in 1 - 2 hours. Dion Socia gave me a piece of this cool textured paper that i had to try and put to good use. It was definitely fun doing this rapper.

This is a drawing I did of Christopher Walken. The likeness is there but on the next drawing I do My focus will be on exxageration.

I did this as a Demo the girl didnt have any money but i still wanted to draw her. The face came out ok but im not please with the execution of the hair.

These sketches are very few from the past week that i have been somewhat pleased with. I am really trying to spend more time thinking and analyzing the faces that i draw. Sometimes its easy and i know what im going to draw before they even sit down and sometimes its hard and i have to look around me to find people to compare them to. Either way im trying to learn from every sketch i do.
